History Brunch: Looking for Lincoln

Events are free to the public and will be located at the Frontier Army Museum, 100 Reynolds Ave, Fort Leavenworth, KS.

September 13th - "Looking for Abraham Lincoln in Kansas" with Bill Stumpf
Abraham Lincoln traveled to Leavenworth, Kansas in December 1859 while campaigning for presidency. While visiting downtown Leavenworth, Lincoln spoke to the masses about Kansas’s role in the Union and the issue of slavery. Join us as we learn about Lincoln’s one and only trip to Kansas. After the presentation visit the museum’s galleries to view the carriage that Lincoln rode in on his journey to Leavenworth.
