Grants and Information Administrator
The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified applicants to provide professional communications, public information, and grant administration services for the City through independent planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic communication initiatives and grant programs. This position researches, prepares, administers and monitors complex grants while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting City-wide organizational objectives. Some responsibilities will also include creating, scheduling, and publishing compelling content across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and NextDoor while providing reports on engagement levels.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a degree in communications, journalism, public or business administration, or a closely related field and; Minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible work in the field of municipal government, public communications or public relations or any equivalent combination of education and experience, with emphasis in multimedia journalism; use of video production hardware and editing software; possess a valid driver's license at time of application; and ability to meet attendance requirements of position, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion.
Starting Salary Range: $62,944.88 - $78,681.10 + excellent benefits package.
