Firefighter

The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified applicants to perform specialized firefighting and rescue duties under emergency conditions frequently involving considerable physical danger on regular 24-hour shifts; assists in the maintenance of fire equipment, apparatus, and quarters. 

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from HS or equivalent; at least 18 years old at time of appointment; valid driver’s license at time of application; IFSAC Firefighter I and II, Haz-Mat Operations level cert. and KS EMT-B or Paramedic cert. at time of appointment (attach current certifications); and CPAT certification and FSEE score must be attached to the application to be eligible. 

Salary: $44,624 plus excellent benefits.
