The Youth Advisory Commission is now accepting applications for motivated teens wishing to serve.

The Youth Advisory Commission is made of 10 active members and provides an opportunity for students to connect with local government, build leadership skills and bring youth perspectives to community issues through hands-on learning and discussion.

Requirements:

  • Must live in the City of Leavenworth or Fort Leavenworth
  • Be of age 14-19 by start date
  • Be able to attend monthly meetings after school
  • Have an interest in leadership, service and improving our community
